Coating Solutions

Integrated pipe and coating facility of Canadoil Coating provides customers’ transportation benefits in cost reduction, time saving and risk minimizing in pipe damage as there is no need to transfer pipes to non-integrated coating facility.

We also provide production benefits as using integrated coating facility provides just-in-time coating and helps reducing risk of pipe damage and controlling quality of pipes during transfer of finished pipes to integrated coating facility. So, the production flows smoothly as pipes are in good condition before moving into coating process.



 

Internal Coating

Internal coating is used primarily to smooth the internal pipe surface resulting in improved flow, protect internal surface from corrosion, and give pipes clean internal surface.

Pipe Length : 9.5 m. (31.7’) to 12.2 m. (42.3’)

External Coating

External coating helps protecting pipes from surrounding environment. It can provide corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, increased durability and protection from mechanical damage, depending on the type of external coating.



FBE : Fusion Bonded Epoxy





FBE is a plant powder coating that was developed for oil and gas pipeline applications where superior coating bond, chemical resistance, soil stress, and cathodic disbondment protection is required.

PE : Polyethylene




PE is a multilayer coating system consisting of a layer of fusion bonded epoxy, a copolymer adhesive and an outer layer of polyethylene which offers a tough, durable pipe coating solution.

Pipe Length : 9.5 m. (31.7’) to 12.2 m. (40.6’)
Operating Temperatures : -40°C (-40°F) to 85°C (185°F)

PP : Polypropylene




PP is a multilayer coating system consisting of a layer of fusion bonded epoxy, a copolymer adhesive and an outer layer of polypropylene which offers the toughest, most durable pipe coating solution available.

Pipe Length : 9.5 m. (31.7’) to 12.2 m. (40.6’)
Operating Temperatures : -40°C (-40°F) to 110°C (230°F)
